children who rely on the Ronald McDonald Care Mobile’s free dental service each year. Both children attend Eastside Elementary School. Their parents say without the dental treatments they receive on the Care Mobile, they could not afford dental care and therefore would never go to a dentist unless it became an emergency. “ I am very happy they have taken my son’s bad teeth. I am grateful for the Care Mobile’s work,” said Estanislao Yoc-Cinto, Rivaldo’s father. The Ronald McDonald Care Mobile provides approximately $250,000 worth of free dental services to nearly 1,500 children at 14 school sites each year. “Please continue the good work you are
doing. I am satisfied for what the Care Mobile did for my children,” said Bonifacio Yoc-Cinto, Dorka’s father. Educators say the Care Mobile’s services improve students’ quality of life. “ I have seen poor dental health negatively affect a child’s ability to learn. If a child is in pain how can they learn? We’re so thankful and grateful to the Ronald McDonald Care Mobile for helping our kids,” said Marisol Jimenez, Eastside Elementary K-5, ESL teacher.
